SERVICES:
We work to build welcoming communities for refugees and immigrants. Inspiritus aims to help new Americans achieve self-sufficiency and integrate successfully into their new communities and country. Inspiritus assists communities throughout the state when disaster strikes. Inspiritus’ focus is providing long term recovery assistance for families and individuals who have unmet needs following a natural disaster. Our Specialized Foster Care Programs and Family Intervention Services (FIS) in Georgia are focused on strengthening family units. Parent education and support programs are offered to work with children and families to prevent separation of families and to promote reunification of families where possible. Inspiritus works in partnership with the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) to provide safe and stable foster homes for children in the custody of the state. Our Disability & Health Services program 2023 Polk Community matches prospective individuals with a support companion and a host home that suits their specific needs. Inspiritus trains and equips support companions to provide personalized care in a family home setting.
