SERVICES:
Our mission is to develop our community of families, agencies, churches, businesses and community leaders to create and support caring neighborhoods for all by: promoting family well being, preventing problems before they occur, and provide a range of timely, convenient and efficient supports and services. We envision a Polk County where our children are born healthy, are ready for school and succeed when they get there, that families are stable and self-sufficient and our communities are robust and thriving.

We are a network of community partners connecting services to identified needs and providing local resource information and supports– helping our neighbor in Polk County. We are RESULTS DRIVEN, PASSION FUELED.

Polk Family Connection leads the collection and publication of our Polk Community Resource Directory development and neighborhood resource corners to provide the most updated local resource information for families where they are. We provide certified training in Darkness to Light child sexual abuse prevention, Bridges Out of Poverty, child abuse and neglect resources and trainings, Poverty 101, Trauma 101, and other family related issues

Some of our activities and programs we host include:
∙ Polk Teen Maze—offered to Polk School District students annually.
∙ Summer Fun Day–a program of the Get Polk Reading initiative helping to prepare all students to read at grade level by 3rd grade, a partnership with Get Georgia Reading Campaign.

∙ Working with One Door Polk partners to promote and coordinate services and supports at the facility,
∙ Community Resource Directory developer
