SERVICES:
Injury Prevention education and tools aimed at children under the age of 19. Monthly Car Seat Education Classes. Car Seat Inspections by appointment.

FUNDING:
Funded by Grants and Donations. There is no cost to the client for services.

CLIENTS:
Our Community Events are open to everyone in the public. Car Seat Inspections are for anyone in Polk County, must call to make an appointment first to be sure we have a certified technician in the office to do the inspection. Car Seat Education Classes are for low income families. Can sign up for these through the Health Department.

VOLUNTEERS:
We use volunteers for our community events. To participate in a community event the volunteer would need to attend a coalition meeting. Please call our office to find out when our next community event will be. The time commitment depends on the type of event, usually no more than 4 hours per event.
